47 Next he measured the court. It was square, 175 feet[a] long and 175 feet wide. The altar(A) was in front of the temple.
48 Then he brought me to the portico of the temple and measured the pilasters of the portico; they were 8¾ feet[b] thick on each side. The width of the gateway was 24½ feet,[c] and the side walls of the gate were[d] 5¼ feet[e] wide on each side. 49 The portico was 35 feet[f] across and 21[g] feet[h] deep, and 10 steps led[i] up to it.(B) There were pillars by the pilasters, one on each side.(C)
